Happy launch day for Tessation! and Happy World Math Day!

Today I launched Tessa into the world in a very big way! My children's book project is now LIVE ON KICKSTARTER!

This has been several-months-in-the-making and I couldn't be prouder!

I am spending this first launch day doing the following things:

• Reaching out via ever social media channel I have to let friends and family know about the project.
• Following up with journalists that I reached out to at the end of last week about the project. These include primarily Asian-American bloggers, math lovers (and bloggers), education journalists and bloggers who write about getting kids outdoors.
• Writing to the Kickstarter creators I wrote about on this blog to let them know the project is live.
• Taking a bath and smearing myself with this calming oil when I need it! 
• Getting ready for the Tessalation! launch party at my house tonight!
• Baking a tessellated Winning Hearts and Minds Chocolate Cake.

Wish me luck! This is by far the craziest thing I've ever done and it could go any number of directions. Kind of like a tessellation. Huh. :)
